I’m heading out to the forest next week to cut the grassy sections of the route with forestry. Although most of the sections stay open throughout the year, there are sections that get crazy grassy following good rains. These are usually the parts where there is forest on one side and wetland on the other. I’m really thankful that forestry have kindly offered to cut these sections – they’d only do this in a month or two to prepare for the dry, winter fire season.
Last night I was looking through photographs from my past scouting trips and also Zelda’s lovely photos from the event. These conjured wonderful memories of a really good day and a place that I absolutely love to visit and run around.
In little over two weeks you’ll have your own memories.
